A proven record of supporting Arkansas values

Representative Jim Sorvillo is serving his third term in the Arkansas House of Representatives representing west Little Rock in District 32.

For the 92nd General Assembly, Rep. Sorvillo serves on the Joint Committee on Energy, the House Public Transportation Committee, the House Insurance & Commerce Committee, and the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee. He serves as chair of the House Public Transportation Motor Vehicles and Highways subcommittee.

During the 91st General Assembly, Jim served as Chair of the Financial Institutions Permanent Subcommittee of the Insurance and Commerce Committee. He also served on the House Public Transportation Committee, Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, and the Joint Committee on Energy.

He previously served from 2011 to 2012 as the Justice of the Peace for District 3 which includes much of Arkansas House District 32 in west Little Rock. As a Republican member of the Pulaski County Quorum Court, the legislative body for the county, Jim was a vocal conservative leader focused on public safety and fiscal responsibility. He prioritized public safety and consistently voted to stop wasteful spending in Pulaski County.

He attended St. Petersburg College and now works as an advertising consultant.

He has resided in Little Rock over forty years and is a member of the Christian Competition Board of Directors, Kiwanis and Rotary. He and his wife Elizabeth attend Fellowship Bible Church, and he is the proud father of 2 and grandfather of 13.
